Life_work_BalanceShropshire businesses are being urged to mark Mental Health Awareness Week by signing up to a series of online webinars to boost wellbeing in the workplace.

The Marches Growth Hub Shropshire has teamed up with some of the leading mental health experts in the region to launch its Business Health and Vitality Hub and stage the series of four free events starting on Thursday (May 21).

The series – to be held every fortnight on Thursdays at 9.30am – aims to show those taking part how to recognise stress and find out about developing excellent health and wellbeing practices.

The growth hub has teamed up with facilitator June Meagher to organise the sessions which will cover topics such as:

• Health & Safety

• Dealing with loss

• Stress factors – opportunities

• Powerful morning routines

• Looking after yourself

The opening session on May 21 will feature Jason Green, founder of high-performance programme Believe to Transform, talking about the best morning routines, whilst Ben Calder, founder of Shrewsbury’s Centre for Integral Health, will look at how the centuries-old art of Qigong can help your mental health.

June Meagher, who has been teaching holistic disciplines for nearly 30 years, will oversee the webinar and round up the latest news and updates from ONS/HSE and there will be a question and answer session.
