A grant is funding for your business for a specific project or purpose. You won’t need to pay a grant back (subject to meeting the grant terms and conditions), but there’s a lot of competition and they are almost always awarded for a specific purpose or project.
Those that are available may require you to match the funds you’re awarded, for example, a grant might cover part of the cost of a project but you’ll have to fund some of it yourself.
As funded schemes for businesses are launched we will list them below and you will also find them on our Support Finder Tool.
Business Growth Programme
Launched in July 2016, the Business Growth Programme (BGP) is a £33 million scheme which offers grants of between £10,000 to £200,000 for eligible businesses in Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin. For more information, visit BGP.
Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP)
The Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP) is available throughout Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin offering FREE energy assessments and grants to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
Assessments are for SMEs who wish to use their energy more efficiently, reducing costs and improving environmental credentials. Following the assessment you can then apply for a grant of up to £20,000 for projects worth up to £50,000. For more information visit BEEP.
