Green Advantage – Skills Bootcamp in Sustainability

edit

Green Advantage is a short course designed for business leaders, managers and professionals who want to consider the implications of climate and environmental challenges for their business or workplace alongside maintaining business performance and profitability.

Sustainability is an important but sometimes confusing area, and business leaders can feel they are expected to play a major role without having the tools to help them. This course will give you the information and skillset to understand environmental sustainability in your business context, and the strategies and actions (if any) that you need to be taking to meet changing customer and staff preferences, regulatory, procurement or supply chain requirements, or investor expectations.

The course is delivered by Aston Centre for Growth in partnership with The Energy & Bioproducts Research Institute (EBRI) and the Centre for Circular Economy and Advanced Sustainability at Aston University.

Fully-funded places are available for sole traders and self-employed aged 19+ with business connections to the Black Country, Birmingham and Solihull and Coventry LEP areas. If you are based in the Marches (Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin or Herefordshire) and are interested, please contact the team to discuss eligibility.

Please note that fees apply to employees receiving salary via PAYE.
