A major event is being staged in Birmingham to help businesses grow their international online presence and companies located in the Marches are invited to get involved.
The 2020 Go Global digital event has been organised by the Department for International Trade (DIT) and Midlands Engine and will be held on February 13 at the National Exhibition Centre.
The conference has been designed to support business owners looking to grow their online brand and build international e-commerce markets.
The event will connect businesses with e-commerce experts and international trade advisers from DIT to explore how they can expand their global reach and increase their exports through e-marketplaces.
Those attending will hear the inspirational journey of companies who have successfully built an international online business such as BrewDog, Candy Kittens and Ohh Deer.
E-marketplace sessions will be run by speakers from Tmall (China), NewEgg (US and Global), Fruugo (Global), and OnBuy (Europe and Global).
Attendees will also be able to pick up some top tips for building their global presence during an E-essentials workshop being delivered by international marketing agency Sharpmonkey and a Connectivity Zone will facilitate networking opportunities between attendees, marketplaces, speakers and partners.
Jatin Bhurabhai, E-commerce and Marketplaces Consultant at DIT, said: "Go Global will be an unmissable event for any business that is looking to grow. Attendees will be alongside the best and brightest companies from the Midlands, hear from inspirational speakers, and get practical insight into making 2020 a year for export success."
