Companies from across the Marches are being urged to discover how innovation could help boost their bottom line.
A free event – Collaborate to Innovate – will explore what innovation is, how collaboration stimulates innovation and what it means to your business growth.
It is being staged by organisations that focus on helping businesses collaborate, innovate and grow in partnership with the region’s growth hubs and other key players.
The day – at Level 25, The Cube, 196 Wharfside Street, Birmingham, B1 1RN, on November 12 – will give vital advice and support on:
What makes a business successful
What is innovation and how you can get involved
How collaboration can fuel your innovation capability and business growth
The latest funding opportunities from Innovate UK
How to prepare for and write successful funding bids
What are the West Midlands sector strengths and growth priorities
How to connect to regional and local support networks and programmes you need to succeed
Organisers say it will be particularly useful for businesses which haven’t had any dealings with Innovate UK or the other partners before, small or medium size businesses or academic organisations interested in innovation and anyone who is part of the innovation ecosystem.
A spokesman said: "We know that collaborative partnerships, across business and academia, stimulate innovation and growth opportunities. That’s why we want to help you understand how you can enhance your business’ productivity to become more resilient and competitive.
"We can help you connect to our networks and partners, new supply chains and investors. Don’t miss out on the chance to hear about funding opportunities and tips on preparing a successful application. We will also be highlighting the priorities in the West Midlands and your local business support organisations."
