Businesses throughout the Marches are being encouraged to find out how they can drive down carbon emissions and cut their costs at a special workshop in September.
The online Virtual Sustainability Forum will take place at 10am on September 8, targeted at SMEs across Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin and Worcestershire.
BEEP, the Business Energy Efficiency Programme, and the Virtual Sustainability Forum are working together to help reduce companies’ environmental impact by supporting them in lowering carbon emissions and business overheads, and encouraging more sustainable business growth across the region.
The workshop will provide guidance on sustainability good practice and information about technology suppliers which can improve energy and resource efficiency within a business setting.
BEEP is an EU funded programme that provides free energy assessments and access to funding for energy saving improvements, helping businesses to lower both their environmental impact and energy costs.
