Skills for Growth Programme

A project to enhance the growth of SME's across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin by introducing new skills to the business and/or expanding on existing skills.

Marches Centre of Manufacturing and Technology (MCMT) has launched their ESF funded project ‘MCMT Skills for Growth programme’. The project is part funded by the European Social Fund and is being delivered by MCMT in partnership with In-comm Training and Business Services LTD and the University of Wolverhampton.

The project is set up to enhance the growth of SME’s across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin by introducing new skills to the business and/or expanding on existing skills.

The project has a series of sessions where businesses can identify skills gaps and book onto. The fully funded sessions include:

  • CNC
  • Metrology
  • Hydraulics and Pneumatics
  • Milling
  • Turning

We will also be covering a series of Management Technical Skills covering:

  • HR
  • Finance
  • Marketing
  • Governance
  • Strategy
  • Innovation
