An awards scheme which helps creative young entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life has been launched for 2021.
The Deutsche Bank Awards for Creative Entrepreneurs has helped creatives put their business plans into practice for the last 27 years.
Partnering with MeWe360, the programme aims to enable and celebrate talented 18–30 year-olds driven to make positive social impact through their creative enterprise.
The scheme, which will reward five winners, features a £60,000 prize fund and £100,000 worth of business support.
A spokesperson said winning entries would get up to £20,000 investment to start or grow their enterprise, 12 months business support with MeWe360 and Deutsche Bank’s industry and business mentors, the opportunity to raise your profile within the industry and access to peer and influential industry contacts.
It would also provide leverage to bring in additional funding and access to further investment opportunities and specially tailored business and leadership training for the cohort of winners.
“We want to make sure that talented people, from all backgrounds, with great ideas or existing businesses can apply. We understand that people are busy and not everyone is used to presenting their business model so we have tried to keep the application process simple.“
To apply you need to be 18-30 years old, have a strong idea or an existing business in the creative industries, want to create positive social impact through your enterprise and be focused and committed.
It is not necessary to have already set up your own business or be a business expert already.
