Time running out to enter Small Awards

Businesses across the Marches are being warned that time is running out to enter an awards scheme specially for small companies.

small awardsThe Small Awards celebrate the 5.8 million small businesses the length and breadth of the country but entries must be submitted by March 13.

Categories up for grabs include the High Street Hero for best high street business, the Bricks and Clicks Award for best multi-channel concern, the Supply Chain Champion for the best B2B entrant and the Legacy Award for best family business.

Other awards will honour the best start-up, best digital-only business, top sole trader, leading social enterprise and the business which contributes the most to their community. The overall champion across the categories will receive the Small Business of the Year award.

Judging, which will be completed by the end of May, will be based on a number of criteria relevant to the specific award, whilst also looking for strong performance as an on-going business. The judges will be looking for evidences of strong community engagement from small businesses.

All finalists will be invited to The Small Awards dinner in London on May 14 to hear the winners announced live.

The Small Awards were launched in 2017 and target the whole small business sector focusing on businesses often overlooked by other awards. They are run by Peak b Ltd, which runs a number of national campaigns for small businesses, including Small Business Saturday.
