Businesses are being invited to see how they could secure contracts as part of the £7m redevelopment of the Telford rail footbridge.
A Meet the Buyer event with Balfour Beatty, in partnership with Telford & Wrekin Council and Enterprise Telford, is being held at the Marches Growth Hub Telford on July 19 for construction sector companies and other related industries to investigate the contracts that are on offer.
Subcontractors are being sought for groundworks, landscaping, scaffolding, brickwork, fencing, traffic management, crane and plant hire, paving, electrical work, security and cameras, cleaning and catering services.
Businesses that supply stone aggregate, topsoil, lighting, and building materials are also invited to come along to the hub at the Telford Innovation Campus in Shifnal Road between 8.30am and 3.30pm to find out more.
An official welcome will follow registration at 8.30am with presentations from Dominic Proud, Highways Delivery Manager, at Telford & Wrekin Council and Paul Whitehead, a Contracts Manager for Balfour Beatty outlining more about the scheme.
Businesses will then be able to meet the buyer and find out more about the opportunities on the table.
