Rishi Sunak sets out his Budget on 27 October 2021 against a backdrop of unprecedented economic disruption caused by the pandemic and record-breaking public debt. We have already had a mini-Budget with the announced 1.25% tax hike in National Insurance and dividends tax from next April, and the suspension of the pension triple lock.
