Employees Support in Skills – Proactive Personnel Case Study
is local recruitment agency set up in Telford in 1999. Since its conception the company has grown and expanded, now operating across 12 branches including in Shrewsbury and employing 125 staff.
The company works with both local and national employers, specialising in placing candidates into Commercial, Industrial, Technical and Transport jobs and has extensive vacancies ranging from unskilled through to Senior Level.
Fourteen staff from Proactive Personnel Ltd in Telford have recently benefited from fully-funded training which has increased their IT skills and efficiency in the use of spreadsheets. The training was delivered by Stuart Ford from Rushmore Business Associates as part of the Employees Support in Skills project which is part funded by ESF.
Jenny Boyle, Senior Partner at Proactive commented "All the staff who attended the course, myself included, remarked on how much they had learnt in a short space of time and how their new found IT skills have significantly complimented their day to day job role. The success of the training was mainly attributed to our supportive trainer Stuart Ford who was particularly encouraging, motivating and patient throughout and it's thanks to Stuart's professional approach that we achieved such a high success rate. Our staff have acquired some valuable IT skills which they can continue to build on and which will enhance their current processes and efficiency.
