Telford & Wrekin Pride in our High Street grants

Telford & Wrekin Council continues to invest in the Pride in Our High Street programme as part of its ongoing commitment to work with local people and tackle the problems facing high streets.

The Pride in Our High Street programme has relaunched for 2025/26 and will consist of six separate grants with a total funding value of £1.2 million.

Funds are limited so grants will be restricted to businesses opening in empty units or wishing to trial a business concept at an established market in one of the six borough town high streets, within the grant boundary area.

Proposed grant levels remain unchanged:

  • Start-up Trial Grant awards – up to £2,500.
  • Start-up Grant awards – up to £10,000.
