Skills Bootcamps

Skills Bootcamps have been developed in partnership with local employers, providers and authorities to help fill skills gaps and vacancies in their area as part of government’s Skills for Life initiative.  The training, which is delivered over 16 weeks, is available to those:

• looking to progress in their current sector
• looking to change jobs or explore a new industry
• currently employed or self-employed
• unemployed

Current provision is focussed around:

• digital skills, such as data engineering, software development and digital marketing
• technical skills in construction or engineering
• green skills, including electric vehicle and heat pump technology
