We’re the Shropshire Sports Collective and we want to Make Sport Work.
Offering a series of six-week upskilling programmes Shrewsbury Town Football Club Foundation, Brightstar Boxing, Embrace and Shropshire Cricket have joined forces to engage anyone who wants to learn something new and potentially access the workplace.
The programme is designed to suit the needs of participants of all ages, with courses running all year round with a variety of locations to choose from. Our sessions run in Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Oswestry, Bridgnorth, Whitchurch and Market Drayton, with attendees required to commit to just one day per week between 09.30 and 14.30.
Participants will be offered the chance to secure a Level 1 and 2 sports and fitness qualification if they wish.
Who is Make Sport Work relevant to?
Make Sport Work is open to anyone who is 16 and over, with a valid UK National Insurance Number and not in part time employment. Due to funding restrictions, we cannot accept anyone within the Telford constituency. Using the power of sport as a tool to engage our programme is an opportunity in maximising your potential.
