In this digital age, an online presence and being able to communicate quickly and effectively through email and your website is vital to the success of any small or medium sized enterprise.
Access to a superfast broadband network can vary widely as can the cost but did you know there’s a grant scheme available to help SMEs improve their connectivity?
The Marches & Gloucestershire Business Broadband grant scheme is designed to help SMEs source and cost the best supplier of superfast broadband.
It’s a partnership between Fastershire, Connecting Shropshire and Superfast Telford, and is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
It has an online portal at www.mgbroadbandgrants.com that aims to help businesses in the process. This tool has been developed exclusively for businesses in Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Gloucestershire that have yet to benefit from Superfast Broadband.
The handy guidance notes will take you through the process step by step and ensure that, if you’re eligible, you are matched with the supplier that best meets your business needs.
