The U.S. aerospace sector is the largest in the world and is one of the main suppliers of both military and civil aerospace hardware to the rest of the world. While COVID-19 has wrought havoc in many parts of the sector, this webinar, brought to you by the Department for International Trade in association with the Midlands Aerospace Alliance, looks beyond the current crisis at North American opportunities as the civil aviation sector recovers…
It will provide information on DIT support both here and in North America and beyond, and how our planned series of Meet the Buyer events with their proven methodology, can help you get in front of buyers and into their supply chains.
The UK Government has a Growth and Prosperity Partnership with Boeing aiming to boost UK investment and supply chain opportunities. The webinar will share highlights from a recent Boeing supplier discovery event which covered its digital transformation of operations, updates on major programmes and how Midlands companies can promote their capabilities to all Boeing divisions through their Supplier Capability Database.
You will also hear from the Midlands Aerospace Alliance on how it helps companies access export opportunities. The MAA was set up in 2003 and now has 300 members. Its board includes senior managers from Collins Aerospace, Meggitt, Moog Aircraft Group and Rolls-Royce as well as elected supply chain representatives and key regional partner bodies. It supports companies in the Midlands to develop new aerospace technologies, improve their competitive performance and win new business through a searchable online capability directory.
