Business owners from across the Marches are being urged to attend an event which will help them to protect their assets from a cyber attack.
The Police and Crime Commissioner in partnership with the University of Wolverhampton and the Cyber Quarter will host the Cyber Crime Business Event on January 21 at the Hereford Business Solutions Centre.
There will be two free-to-attend sessions, a morning one from 10am until 12.30am and an afternoon one from 11.30pm to 2pm.
Businesses attending will hear about cyber crime threats, how to respond and be given advice and support on how to improve the safety of their own IT systems.
At 11.30am representatives from West Mercia Police, University of Wolverhampton, the Cyber Quarter, Chamber of Commerce, Natwest, Suttcliffe Insurance, IASME, Marches Growth Hub and Fastershire will also be on hand to offer advice to businesses.
Free Smartwater packs will also be available for those attending the event.
