Traders and hauliers urged to get up to speed with Border guidance

Traders and hauliers across the Marches are being urged to make sure they are up to date with regulations covering how the UK border with the European Union operates.

The Cabinet Office has just updated the Border Operating Model guidance page to include additional documents.

A spokesman said the new updates were added to the guidance due to changes in the timetable for introducing some regulations.

“Traders and hauliers must take the steps outlined in the Border Operating Model, which has been updated to reflect the revised timetable for the introduction of the next stage of UK import requirements, as well as including additional detail on policies and processes.

“The guide includes case studies and new step-by-step explainers to support traders and hauliers with specific parts of UK custom requirements and importing and exporting goods.”
