SOLVD supports Telford & Wrekin and Shropshire small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the adoption of digital technologies to improve productivity and profit.
SOLVD is a new initiative to help SME’s improve their capabilities and productivity by making better use of the emerging technologies AI, Virtual & Augmented Reality, 3D Printing and Robotics, Internet of Things and Sensors, Big Data , 5G and Cyber Security.
Managed by the University of Wolverhampton in partnership with Telford & Wrekin Council and ERDF funded, it provides eligible businesses with 12 hours of fully funded support.
This involves a series of workshops delivered by specialists and academics to build a bespoke digital technology roadmap and to investigate appropriate options to assist in finding smart solutions.
There may also be opportunity to tap into more R&D support worth £10 after the initial phase. SOLVD offers companies access to people, equipment and space that would not normally be available.
