Businesses in Telford & Wrekin are being given help to cut their operating costs during the current cost of living crisis.
Telford & Wrekin Council has relaunched the Pride in Our High Streets Eco Grant which is accompanied by support to complete a grant application.
There are two options to access support under the scheme:
Grants for energy saving products
Grants of up to £1,500 will be available to allow businesses to purchase energy saving products. They will be helped to do this with a schedule of items that can be provided by local suppliers. The schedule will act as a guide which gives an indication of current prices that have been tested for best value.
Grants for ceiling or wall insulation to business premises
Grants of up to £5,000 will be available for insulation, it requires approval from the premises’ owner. A schedule of local suppliers will be created and applicants must adhere to the requirements of the Planning Authority relating to consents that apply to a conservation area, listed building or local interest building.
The grants will be available to registered businesses with high street shops in Wellington, Newport, Oakengates, Madeley, Dawley and Ironbridge. For an application form and more information please contact: [email protected]
