Mr Dunne will attend the Ludlow Nut Company on Friday 27th April, along with the International Trade's 40ft Export Hub Truck, members of the Shropshire International Trade team and neighbouring firms to demonstrate how international export can provide the steps for rural business development, the creation of new jobs, and encourage local economic growth.

The MP and Shropshire Department for International Trade has organised for the Export Hub Truck, part of the Government's national Export is GREAT campaign, to attend the event from 10am until 1:30pm at Ludlow Nut Company, Foldgate Lane, Ludlow, SY8 1LS.

Guest speakers include Philip Dunne MP, who will provide an overview of the support available to rural businesses across Ludlow, Bridgnorth and Church Stretton and beyond to help them unlock markets overseas, and how companies such as Ludlow Nut Company, Igloo Vision, Grainger & Worrall and FL Hitchman have benefited as a result.

The Shropshire International Trade Team explained: "We're dedicated to helping businesses of all shapes and sizes prosper internationally, and in particular supporting rural businesses across Ludlow, Church Stretton and Bridgnorth, which can be often overlooked, but the growth of whom hugely benefits the local economy and communities.

"Ludlow Nut Company is a shining example of how exporting can result in solid, sustainable growth, and we'd encourage any surrounding businesses to come along, hear Philip Dunne MP and see the Exporting is GREAT campaign truck in the county."

Helen Graham, Managing Director at the Ludlow Nut Company, explained: "As our name suggests, we're extremely proud of our heritage in Ludlow and it was only natural for us to develop a new site just across the road to cater for increased demand both here in the UK and internationally. The support that we received from the Department for International Trade has been incredibly valuable to our business's future and in the creation of more local job opportunities, and we are eager to encourage more rural Shropshire businesses to explore the possibilities."
