Philip
Dunne MP for Ludlow is set to visit a local food firm’s brand new,
state-of-the-art facility next month to demonstrate international
growth opportunities for rural businesses.

Mr
Dunne will attend the Ludlow Nut Company on Friday 27
th
April, along with the International Trade’s 40ft Export Hub Truck,
members of the Shropshire International Trade team and neighbouring
firms to demonstrate how international export can provide the steps
for rural business development, the creation of new jobs, and
encourage local economic growth.

The
MP and Shropshire Department for International Trade has organised
for the Export Hub Truck, part of the Government’s national Export
is GREAT campaign, to attend the event from 10am until 1:30pm at
Ludlow Nut Company, Foldgate Lane, Ludlow, SY8 1LS.

Guest
speakers include Philip Dunne MP, who will provide an overview of the
support available to rural businesses across Ludlow, Bridgnorth and
Church Stretton and beyond to help them unlock markets overseas, and
how companies such as Ludlow Nut Company, Igloo Vision, Grainger &
Worrall and FL Hitchman have benefited as a result.

The
Shropshire International Trade Team explained: “We’re dedicated
to helping businesses of all shapes and sizes prosper
internationally, and in particular supporting rural businesses across
Ludlow, Church Stretton and Bridgnorth, which can be often
overlooked, but the growth of whom hugely benefits the local economy
and communities.

Ludlow

solid, sustainable growth, and we’d encourage any surrounding

is GREAT campaign truck in the county.”
