Help at hand to boost customer engagement

A
free session to help keep your customers happy – and grow your
business – through online technology and social media is being
staged in Hereford later this month.

Businesses
are being promised the event – at the Marches Growth Hub
Herefordshire
‘s base at the Hereford Business Solutions Centre at
Skylon Court – will show them how to improve customer engagement.

The
two-hour training session is being led by Faster
Business advisor Anna Wilde at
the centre on October 25.

Marches
Growth Hub Herefordshire manager Lyndsay Francis said the event would
help any business wanting to develop its online marketing and sales
functions.

"This
workshop will help you learn how to manage and streamline your
customer engagement and lead to happier customers and better
retention.

"If
you want to get your online sales process just right and learn some
vital techniques for making the process as efficient as possible,
then this is the event for you."

The
training will focus on

  • Customer
    Relationship Management (CRM)

  • Marketing
    automation

  • Website
    ‘chat’ functions

  • Automated
    response bots

  • Using
    Twitter and Facebook for customer service

  • Ticketing
    systems

A
complimentary lunch and refreshments will also be provided for all
attendees as well as a time to network.

The
workshop is being hosted by the Fastershire scheme, a partnership
between Herefordshire Council and Gloucestershire County Council to
bring faster broadband to the two counties.

The
Fastershire
project also includes social and digital inclusion activities, and an
extensive business support programme, FasterBusiness.
