Brathay Apprentice Challenge 2016

Brathay Apprentice Challenge 2016

Published: February 8th, 2016

Team nominations open until 15th February

The Brathay Apprentice Challenge (#BAC16) is the official search to find the apprentice team of the year, supported by the National Apprenticeship Service.

The Challenge sees teams compete in a series of work-related challenges to develop new skills, showcase their employer and engage with young people and employers promoting the benefits of apprenticeships.

The Challenge consists of regional heats where teams take part in awareness raising activity to schools and employers and a community fundraising project. The top 8 teams then proceed to the finals which consist of further fundraising and awareness raising activity culminating in a 3 day logistical and team building finale where the apprentice team of the year is crowned.

Teams of nine apprentices can be from a single employer, a group of small businesses, an industry, supply chain or training provider.

Last year over 700 apprentices entered the Brathay Apprentice Challenge from SMEs to large organisations, colleges and training providers.
