National Apprenticeship Week – Encouraging Apprenticeships

Published: March 14th, 2016

Keiran Ross, Alex Hall, and Ali Kerr all have something in common. They were all convinced that an apprenticeship was the right way to progress their career. s300_naw-logo
But why have their respective employers invested in apprenticeship schemes?
That’s the question we put to three companies for a short Marches Growth Hub/Marches LEP film aimed at encouraging other employers to take a similar step.
Although Grainger & Worrall, Salop Engineering and Fullwood are manufacturers, and the film certainly showcases the innovation in the sector, the skills issue is one which affects a growing number of industries in the Marches, and across the UK.

So please have a look to see what the companies, and their apprentices, had to say.  And don’t forget, employers can access our new skills search to find apprenticeship schemes and training courses which can help them develop their workforce.
