The Rapid Response Cohort (RRC) Mentoring Programme has been set up in response to the Covid-19 outbreak. The 12-week mentoring programme will match SME leaders and key decision makers with a corporate senior or executive leader with expertise at a national and global level to work with them on the immediate challenges and priorities they are facing during this pandemic.

The focus of the support will be around business continuity with help to revise business plans, advice on the next steps and how to rebuild a business. Mentoring will take place online and via telephone.

Companies including BAE Systems, GlaxoSmith Klein, Siemens, Cisco, Amazon, KPMG, McKinsey’s, BT, Accenture and John Lewis and Partners have supplied mentors for the programme.

The scheme is open to businesses in any sector that have a £1m+ turnover and six full time equivalent staff.

Anyone signing up to the Rapid Response Cohort (RRC) Mentoring Programme can go on to take part in a 12-month Mentoring for Growth programme.

The programme will be delivered by Be the Business, a business-led organisation created to close the UK’s productivity gap and spearheaded by Sir Charlie Mayfield, chairman of the John Lewis Partnership.
