The Marches Growth Hub Herefordshire will be highlighting its one-stop business support service at a major regional event.
The hub is joining more than 100 other exhibitors at Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce’s Business Expo event at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern on October 7.
Herefordshire hub manager Lyndsay Francis will be on hand at the event to highlight the work of the hub as the gateway for support for businesses of all sizes and sectors across Herefordshire.
The Marches Growth Hub Herefordshire – which has recently moved into a new home at Hereford’s renovated Shell Store – is overseen by the Marches Local Enterprise Partnership and provides access to expert business advice, seminars and networking opportunities, a huge range of funding opportunities and information on a full range of business issues.
Marches LEP business support lead Yasmin Sulaman urged businesses to take advantage of the growth hub stand at the show.
“We are delighted to be supporting the Expo event and look forward to being able to meet as many businesses as possible during the day.
“The work of the hub in supporting the Herefordshire business community has never been more important than in the wake of the pandemic, and Lyndsay will be able to talk visitors through the huge range of assistance and information we can provide.”
The Made Smarter programme – a new initiative supported by the Marches Growth Hub to help manufacturing and engineering businesses boost productivity and growth through improved use of digital technology and skills – will also have a stand at the show with an expert adviser in attendance.
The £1.9million programme offers support to businesses in Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin, including help and advice from a dedicated digital technology specialist, Barry Jones, one of five experts appointed in the West Midlands area.
