A free event in Shropshire is set to help businesses reduce costs and improve energy efficiency.
BMW will be one of the of the organisations at the Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP) conference at the Park House Hotel, Shifnal, on March 1 sharing its experience about embracing low carbon and energy efficient options including new energy efficient technologies, battery storage for renewable technologies and electric vehicles.
The conference will detail some of the latest innovations and energy efficient projects in action, and outline what grants are available to help reduce your carbon footprint and make instant financial savings.
Representatives of the BEEP programme will set out how it has successfully helped local businesses to identify and deliver energy efficiency improvements and share how a BEEP grant of up to £20,000 can help your business make improvements to your carbon footprint and your bottom line through lighting, heating, equipment, processes and much more.
There will also be the chance to ask questions during the round table discussions on energy efficiency topics of your choice and visit the Environmental Technologies and Innovation Marketplace as part of the BECCI (Built Environment Climate Change Innovations) project by the University of Wolverhampton, with its aim of promoting the adoption of low carbon projects.
It’s a morning event with lunch and an opportunity to network with fellow businesses and meet some of the area’s leading environmental technology suppliers.
The Business Energy Efficiency Programme is part-financed by the England European Regional Development Fund Programme as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
