Moving into overseas markets can be daunting, but a free interactive roadshow heading to the Midlands this autumn aims to open the doors to export success.
Export Academy Live! will feature talks, workshops and a chance to meet some of the UK’s biggest trading partners, all aimed at empowering you to develop your exporting strategy, gather the knowledge to drive growth, and build your confidence on important export topics.
The roadshow is coming to the ICC in Birmingham on November 2. It will also be calling into Manchester on November 1 and London on November 3.
During the day you can head to the main stage to hear from some of the brightest export minds, including a keynote address from a well-known business personality. Talks will also cover the latest hot topics and show how you can make the most of the Department for International Trade’s support.
The workshop zone will offer a taste of the DIT’s Export Academy support, including mini workshops on market research, getting paid and much more, and in the market zone you will meet representatives from some of the UK’s biggest trading partners. This area will allow you to explore the markets and find out which one is best suited to your products and/or services.
In the growth zone you can find out about local support, meet with DIT advisers and catch up with organisations who can provide access to business growth support and funding.
And, if you need some time and space to digest everything you’ve learned, there will be plenty of chance to grab a coffee, chat with other businesses and build your local connections in the networking zone.
Export Academy advisers will be on hand to help you to make the most of the day, and there will be chance to meet one-to-one with export experts, specialist advisers, and representatives of the DIT support programmes including the Export Support Service, UK Tradeshow Programme, UK Export Finance and many more.
The event is organised by the Department for International Trade and demand for places is expected to be high. Register here for your free ticket before it’s too late.
