Small businesses across Telford and Wrekin are being given the chance to get a vital health check from a Growth Hub Guru.
Ralph Savage will share expert tips on how to make sure your business stays in the best possible shape at the event being organised by the Marches Growth Hub Telford & Wrekin next month.
The Growth Hub, which is delivered by Telford & Wrekin Council, has recruited a team of business experts – Growth Hub Gurus – from a range of specialisms to offer expert advice and guidance across the borough.
Mr Savage, of DRS Business Solutions, will run the free, interactive workshop on April 4 and focus on some of the issues affecting businesses as they start to grow.
Claire Critchell, hub manager, said: "The first stages of growth can be challenging for many small businesses as the people involved can often feel as if they are losing hands-on control of something they created.
"This interactive workshop has been carefully designed to help you to understand the risks, and the measures available to give you confidence, and have a scalable business that builds wealth and resilience."
The event will look at why cashflow control is vital, how to keep your business lean for safe growth, tracking the activities which make the most profit and how prompt reporting can make a huge difference to growth plans.
The event starts at 9.15am and will last for three hours. You can register here or call 01952 567589 for more information.
Two further Guru sessions are planned for the following weeks.
On April 11 Kim Gilmour, from Connect Consultancy, will show how to use the app Canva to make great social media posts, whilst transformational coach Helen Leathers will look at how to price with confidence on May 15.
Kim’s workshop can be booked here and Helen’s here
