A series of business summits is being staged across Herefordshire as part of a partnership between the Marches Growth Hub Herefordshire and Herefordshire Council.
Businesses are being urged to attend the summits to have their say on some of the issues affecting the whole county and their particular part of it.
The events have been organised as part of the council and hub’s ongoing business engagement programme to bring businesses up to speed on a series of programmes and projects.
Among topics up for discussion at the growth hub-hosted events will be:
- Herefordshire Big Economic Plan
- Levelling Up Funds
- Shared Prosperity Funds
- Updates on economic projects in the local area and the wider county
Dates for the summits organised so far – and links to register – include:
January 11: Kington, The Burton Hotel, 5.30pm.
January 12: Ledbury, The Master’s House, 5.30pm.
January 18: Leominster, Grange Court, Pinsley Road, 5.30pm.
January 24: Bromyard, The Falcon Hotel, 5.30pm.
February 9: Ross on Wye, The Gateway Cinema, 5.30pm
March 9: Golden Valley, Ewyas Harold Memorial Hall, 5.30pm.
Herefordshire Council leader David Hitchiner, environment and economy portfolio holder Ellie Chowns, council chief executive Paul Walker and new director for economy and environment Ross Cook will join other speakers at the events.
