Manufacturers across Shropshire will learn how digital technology and new skills can improve efficiency and cut costs at an event later this week.
The ‘Getting Value From Digital Skills’ event on Thursday, December 13, will showcase examples of digital skills within the industry, highlight training opportunities and examine the value of digital technology to businesses.
The event at The Marches Centre of Manufacturing and Technology in Bridgnorth will also provide businesses with an opportunity to tour the venue and take part in a round table debate on all aspects of digital skills including training, government support and how to best use digital to win new contracts.
The event will start at 1.30pm and last approximately three hours. Spaces are limited and can be booked by emailing Jennifer Farrell at [email protected] or by contacting 0208 617 9517.
Alongside this, there is also the option for businesses to get up to speed on the latest technologies supporting the automotive sector by attending the TMG Open House, also on December 13.
Hosted by In-Comm Training and the Training & Manufacturing Group, this event will also take place at 9am at the Marches Centre of Manufacturing Technology.
Guest speaker, James Grainger, Executive Director and owner of Grainger and Worrall – a UK headquartered engineering business specialising in high integrity casting for the motorsport, prestige vehicle, aerospace and defence industries – will discuss the changing landscape of the automotive sector.
The event will also include a workshop tour of Classic Motor Cars.
