Businesses in Shropshire will be able to find out how to access information and guidance through the Marches Growth Hub at one of the county’s leading events.
The Marches Growth Hub will host a breakfast meeting at the Shrewsbury Business Expo at Shrewsbury Town Football Club on September 28.
The annual event is organised by the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and offers networking opportunities as well as the chance to promote businesses, find new suppliers, generate sales and increase business profile.
Speakers at the breakfast will include Amy Farley, Economic Growth Co-ordinator from the Marches Growth Hub, who will outline the support available locally and nationally for businesses and the Marches Technical Assistance team will discuss funding programmes and what the future holds for EU grants.
Shropshire Council’s Economic Growth Strategy and what it means for county businesses will also be on the agenda.
The event starts at 8am with the breakfast meeting hosted by Marches Growth Hub from 8.30am to 10am.
The Expo will run from 10am to 1.30pm and include seminars from high profile Shropshire businesses and a networking lunch. Representatives from the Marches Growth Hub will also be available for one to one sessions.
Amy said: "Finding the time to explore the opportunities and support that is available to help you start or grow a business can be hard but this event will allow people to tap into the expertise from the Marches Growth Hub while networking and promoting their own businesses.
"There is a wealth of advice and financial support available in Shropshire and nationally. The Marches Growth Hub is a single point of contact for them to help find tailored solutions for their individual business needs."
