Businesses across Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin are being invited to discover how digital technology could transform their operations at a free online event next month.
The Made Smarter West Midlands programme is hosting a special webinar on Tuesday 8 April to showcase how manufacturing and engineering SMEs can access expert support and funding to adopt new digital tools.
The online session, running from 10:30am to 12:00pm, will explain how the fully funded programme can help businesses harness digital tools and automation to boost productivity, improve competitiveness, and cut costs.
Made Smarter West Midlands, now entering its fifth year, has already supported 435 SMEs across the region since launching in 2021 and awarded £3.2 million in match-funded grants to help manufacturing businesses transform their production processes.
A spokesperson for the Marches Growth Hub said: “This is an excellent opportunity for manufacturing businesses across our region to learn how they can benefit from digitalisation. The programme offers expert guidance to build tailored digital roadmaps, plus mentoring, funding and training opportunities.”
The webinar will explore how cutting-edge technologies such as automation, data analytics and artificial intelligence can streamline operations, reduce costs and future-proof businesses. Companies at any stage of digital adoption are welcome to attend.
The programme is available to manufacturing and engineering SMEs in Greater Birmingham & Solihull, the Black Country, Coventry & Warwickshire, Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire, Worcestershire, and The Marches.
