Business leaders from across the Marches are being encouraged to sign up to attend a free online workshop providing support and advice on growing your business.
The morning workshop on March 18, being organised by University Centre Shrewsbury (UCS) in partnership with the Marches Growth Hub, will give an overview of the support on offer to businesses across the region.
The event, which begins with a networking session at 9.30am, will welcome guest speakers from UCS, the Centre for Research into Environmental Science and Technology (CREST), Digital Solutions and Building Skills and Growth Capacity (BSGC).
The session aims to offer information on the support available to businesses, whether a newly founded start-up or an established organisation. BSGC will provide insight into completing a training needs analysis, while CREST will offer attendees information on reducing your business’ environmental impact. Digital Solutions completes the line-up, supporting SMEs that want to develop new digital innovations.
Paul Johnson, the new Head of Centre at UCS, will introduce the session and will be joined by Katharine Bevan from CREST, Hannah Smith from Digital Solutions and Ruth Westwood from BSGC. Attendees will also be able to participate in a Q&A session with the speakers and a post-event networking session.
