Ever wondered how your business can develop and thrive in new overseas markets?
Then a special week of events later this month could be just the week for you.
The Department for International Trade in the West Midlands is staging an Export Web Week from July 16 to help any business start to export or build up its existing order book.
All the events are online and are totally free and cover an exhaustive range of topics around doing trade abroad.
And you don’t even have to watch the webinars live if you are not able to – simply register and you will be sent a recording to watch in your own time.
As well as webinars, other events include Twitter chats and online 1-1 meetings, meaning there is something for everyone with an interest in trading overseas.
The week kicks off with a 10am webinar on July 16 covering all the essentials you will need to know to start exporting.
Other topics covered during the week include researching international markets, the help the DIT and ERDF can give in developing new markets, the etiquette of doing business abroad and how to give your website international appeal.
The 1-1 online meetings will give detailed information about how to export to specific countries, including France, Ireland, Slovenia and the Czech Republic.
A DIT West Midlands spokesman said: "Join us for a week of training webinars, online 1:1 meetings with export advisors from across the globe and Twitter chats led by industry experts covering the full export journey.
"During the week we’ll have training suitable for businesses exporting for the first time, and those looking to expand into new markets and growing their export sales."
