This virtual event marks the start of a week of activity to help businesses in the region recover from the devastating impact of the coronavirus lockdown.
The Marches LEP has organised the week working with partners across Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin to focus on action needed to rebuild the regional economy as it begins to emerge from the shadow of the virus.
The Your LEP in Action event on October 12 at 8am will showcase progress on the partnership’s key projects in the last year, which includes million of pounds of investment into infrastructure and business support to help recovery in the Marches.
It is also a chance to meet the Marches LEP Board, with members of the public invited to submit questions in advance of the meeting to be answered during the online event.
LEP Chair Mandy Thorn MBE will be launching the LEP’s Annual Report and also outlining the events and activity taking place during Marches Business Recovery Week.
The week will finish with a Marches Economic Recovery Summit which will examine in detail how the business community can be helped to thrive in the new post-Covid world.
