WEBINAR Mayoral & HS2 Supply Chain Summit for SME’s

WEBINAR Mayoral & HS2 Supply Chain Summit for SME’s

Background

HS2 is the largest infrastructure project in Europe, and building the new railway provides unprecedented opportunities to thousands of businesses across West Midlands for more than a decade.

Following the decision to proceed with HS2 earlier this year, HS2 Ltd issued ‘Notice to proceed’ to the companies that will undertake construction of the railway on 15th April 2020, with construction now officially underway.

A large proportion of the £100bn budget will make its way down the supply chain providing transformational opportunities for businesses for more than a decade. These opportunities will stretch far beyond the traditional rail industry and offers a real opportunity for companies looking to diversify as part of post-Covid-19 recovery. WMCA are committed to maximising the number of West Midlands businesses that benefit from this investment.
