Jennifer Van Dale and Rhys McWhirter from Eversheds Sutherland will be sharing their insight and expertise on business continuity planning (BCP). Throughout the webinar they will cover two main areas to help you navigate these challenging times and determine what the difference is between a BCP and a Disaster Recovery Plan.
Jennifer will provide advice on employment considerations including managing your HR costs (short term vs long term tools), dealing with annual leave, non-paid leave, and will also cover the basic statutory rules.
Technology and commercial considerations will be addressed by Rhys who will stipulate what constitutes as a good BCP, advise how often it should be tested, and what is the responsibility of your key vendors in relation to BCP. He will also outline the obligations that you should have in your technology and commercial contracts, and what notification obligations you should require from your vendors.
There will be a 20 minute presentation followed by a 10 minute Q&A on each discussed area.
