The New UK Regime for Goods: Placing goods on the market NI
Join BEIS for this webinar covering the process and requirements for placing goods on the market in Northern Ireland.

The UK now has its own domestic goods regime and businesses need to understand new rules for placing goods on the Northern Ireland Market, which are different from rules for Great Britain. We advise that businesses get ready for the new regime as soon as possible to ensure they are compliant by 1 January 2023. This is the final deadline for businesses to get ready, and there will be no further extension.

The regime in Northern Ireland seeks to ensure consumers are protected from unsafe, and non-compliant goods.

This session will cover the new regulatory regime for goods in Northern Ireland which has different rules to the rest of the UK. This session will cover placing goods on the market in Northern Ireland, the roles and responsibilities of economic operators and the specific regulatory rules relating to moving goods to and from Northern Ireland and Great Britain.

There will also be a chance to ask questions at the end. Please note, we are unable to provide advice on your specific circumstances.
