None of us could have predicted the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, but we can predict other risks and opportunities to our business, this workshop will expand on the previous two to help people review the positives and negatives to allow strategies to be put in place to manage these.

a. Identifying Financial Risks to the Business – What could go wrong and what do I need to put in place to try and makes sure the risks do not materialise.

b. Identifying Financial Opportunities to the Business – What could help me expand is the launch of a new service going to expand my business what do I need to do if this happens?

c. Modelling risks and opportunities – The Risks and opportunities need to be managed together creating a balance, if you have far more risks than opportunities then you are unlikely to meet the outcome you want as some of these will happen.

d. Quantifying the risks and opportunities – we will also review the materiality of some of the risks and opportunities and how you would categorise these.
