Herefordshire 30 for 2030: Business Energy Webinar

Practical steps for any business to look at energy use and practices, save money and reduce your carbon footprint.

’30 for 2030’ is a campaign to encourage employers to plot their journeys to meet the county’s zero carbon ambition by the end of the decade. It is part of the Greener Footprints campaign launched by the Herefordshire Climate and Nature Action Partnership in January 2022.

Cllr Ellie Chowns, chair of the Climate and Nature Partnership Board, said:

“Business has a vital role to play in helping tackle climate change. I’m delighted that this campaign will help showcase good practice and inspire more businesses to play their part.”Presenters:

• Tim Yair, Regional Senior Energy Projects Officer of Midlands Net Zero Hub on how to take the first steps to measure, monitor and reduce your energy.

• Philip Pearcy, Operations Manager of the Courtyard Theatre shares their journey on reducing the effect of their activities on the environment. “We’re hugely excited to be part of the initiative as we understand how important it is for all businesses to use their platforms to generate awareness of climate change.”

There will be opportunities to ask questions, find out what support is available and potential sources of funding.
