Funding Workshop: Rural Business, Tourism, Food & Drink and Agri Projects
Funding Workshop – Grants for rural tourism, food and drink and agri projects and for rural businesses in Herefordshire
This event is aimed at businesses and organisations based in rural Herefordshire who might be eligible to apply for funding from European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), administered by DEFRA, and other DEFRA Grant Schemes.
The event will include information on RDPE Growth Programme funding (for business development, tourism, food and drink projects) and the Herefordshire LEADER Programme which provides grants to rural businesses and can be used for farm diversification, tourism, cultural and heritage activities, forestry and other rural services.
This is also the first opportunity to hear more about the new AGRI support programme (funded via the European Regional Development Fund) which seeks to address barriers to growth in the agri-food industry by providing an innovation support service focussed on companies involved with agri-tech, food manufacturing and logistics.
