Whether it’s a feasibility study to see how composites, additive manufacturing can help improve an idea, or upscaling an existing product to meet future innovative requirements.

The programme will look at making innovative research and development as straightforward as possible for smaller companies, with this programme you will not only have access to research and development, but also the breadth of academic skills and capabilities.

The Composites, Additive Layer Manufacturing Research and Innovation Centre (CALMERIC) is an ERDF funded project that offers funded independent research and technical support to develop material and manufacture processes for SME based in Telford & Wrekin, Stoke On Trent and Staffordshire areas.

This event will benefit companies who have:

  • Independent ownership
  • Fewer than 250 employees
  • Turnover of less than €50 million (euro) per annum

Based in one of the 3 LEP areas:

  • Stoke on Trent & Staffordshire
  • The Marches, Telford and Wrekin
  • Greater Birmingham & Solihull

Free onsite parking, the event will be signposted on campus, alternatively please report to main reception (Please be aware that there are major roadworks on the A442, it is best to use an alternative route)
