The Marches Step Up Programme

The ERDF funded Marches Step Up Programme aims to provide support to (aspiring) entrepreneurs, micro, small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) across the Marches area under two strands;

· Step up to Start

· Step up to Growth

Support available under "Step Up to Start" is aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs, those at the pre-start stage or perhaps registered but not yet trading. The support will enable new businesses to get off to the best possible start.

The "Step up to Growth" strand targets both newly trading businesses (trading under 12 months) and established or growing businesses to improve innovation, address efficiency or productivity or to follow growth strategies in supporting their (high) growth aspirations. The content of the programme is tailored to meet the individual needs of the business.

Support, under the Marches Step-up Programme, is delivered under contract via delivery partners IBD Business Advice Group in Herefordshire and Good2Great across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin. Both suppliers will be delighted to discuss support opportunities with businesses. In the first instance, please make contact to the following delivery partners along geographic lines:
