Objectives of Fund
The Woodland Carbon Fund has been set up to allow millions more trees to be planted across England; helping to meet future carbon targets.
This demand-led grant scheme is intended to boost the rate of woodland creation and to visibly demonstrate how, by taking a natural capital approach; woodland creation can help to meet the government’s future carbon targets alongside delivering other benefits.
