The UK tech sector is growing rapidly, at almost six times as fast as that of the UK economy as a whole (£104bn in 2010 to £149bn in 2018). The digital tech economy also employed over 2.9m people in 2019 and attracted a record £10.1 billion of investment.
As part of Leeds Digital Festival 2020, the Department for International Trade (DIT) is organising a series of roundtable discussions that will enable tech companies to find out about international opportunities for their tech solutions. The discussions will be in a virtual format and led by DIT’s tech sector team based in London, and DIT’s commercial representatives based overseas.
The four events will focus on the USA, France, Germany and the United Arab Emirates.
