The Queen's Award for Enterprise - Shropshire
Whether you employ 2, 20 or 200 people, you could win a Queen's Award for Enterprise - the UK's most prestigious business honour. Would you like to know more about the awards, how to apply and the benefits being an award winner can bring?
The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are awarded to businesses for outstanding achievement in International Trade, Innovation, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity
Former Shropshire winners include Shrewsbury-based Cooking Marvellous, Protolabs in Telford and Grainger & Worrall in Bridgnorth.
Since entries are judged solely on merit, there is a very wide variety of enterprises entering and winning each year, with companies varying in size from large international companies to small businesses comprising just a couple of employees.
On May 23, the Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire, Mrs. Anna Turner and Graham Wynn OBE, Chairman of the Marches Local Enterprise Partnership will launch the Queen's Award for Enterprise in Shropshire.
