Wanted: Region’s top female entrepreneurs

Published: September 11th, 2020

A campaign is under way to showcase Britain’s 100 most inspiring female entrepreneurs.

f.entrepreneurBusinesswomen from across the Marches are being urged to apply to join the ranks of the f:Entrepreneur #ialso 100 so that their successes can be celebrated and help inspire others.

Entries opened for the annual campaign at the start of the month and women from the Marches are being urged to get their applications in as soon as possible.

The f:Entrepreneur campaign – now in its third year – celebrates all the women running their own businesses in the UK and uses a variety of events, content and storytelling to help and support all small businesses.

The campaign was launched in 2017 by Michelle Ovens MBE, who is also the founder of Small Business Britain, because of the growing sense that there should be more recognition for the power women who run so many businesses in the UK.

She said: "The goal of the campaign is to celebrate the dynamic and inspirational businesses led by women in the UK.

"The campaign is aimed at both men and women, because everyone has something to learn from these stories of challenge and success. Through events, content and story-telling, f:entrepreneur showcases role models to help and inspire all small businesses."
