Inspiring the next generation

Businesses are being sought to take part in a special event later this year to encourage more young people to follow careers in science, technology, engineering, arts and maths (STEAM).

Full STEAM Ahead will take place at Enginuity in Telford on September 26 and employers that can run a 30-minute practical interactive STEAM based challenge six times throughout the day are being urged to sign up.

It is a fantastic opportunity to share experience, promote your business, engage with schools and young people and contribute to preparing the workforce of tomorrow.

Fifteen organisations are required. You will get groups of 10 students timetabled to visit throughout the day, accompanied by a teacher and a STEM ambassador.

The event will run from 9am to 3pm, with set up taking place the day before. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for volunteers.
